Found this super sweet photo today.

...Which made me think of that man who walks around NYC with the cat on his head. If you want a photo of this walking anomaly, he's going to ask you for money. So take a quick snap, then tell him to shut it and let his cat walk around like all the other animals instead of being held prisoner on his head being humiliated 24/7 on the streets of new york.

After some more intensive internet research, i found this pretty self explanatory Flickr group called Cats as Hats. Enjoy, you lovers of cats, hats, and hats made of cats!

And this ALL reminds me one of my my earliest internet finds. This was probably the late 90s when i stumbled upon Oolong and his japanese owner who took extensive photographs of his beloved bunny and his special "balancing talent." Anyway, the bunny has since passed away but his heart (and legacy) goes on and on like Celine Dion's heart. Here are some of his greatest hits.

Nothing says classy like taping your underarm skin flaps to fool yourself and the world that you have shapely, non gelatinous arms. How about trying some bicep curls or abandoning short sleeve shirts? I saw this infomercial this morning while i was eating breakfast and got sucked in. I get so involved in infomercials. Partly because I'm gullible. Mostly because i love TV so much i'll give it the time of day for anything. I'm lucky that my apartment isn't filled with Magic Bullets and ShamWows (holds 20 times its weight in liquid!)

I suppose there are a ton of products that are created to help us accentuate our best assets.

Spray on Abs for the abdominally challenged.

Self Tanner for the tanning challenged and anabolic steroids for the body building challenged.

Wonder Bras for the cleavage challenged.

Porcelain Veneers for the perfect chiclet teeth challenged.

And so i guess Slim Tape for arms isn't so bad. Just another thing to make us feel good about ourselves. I'm guilty of that for sure so i can't hate. I guess it makes me mad that someone is making money off of something as simple as tape with a gimmick as lame as this. Tape that allows for octogenarians to walk among us with smooth ass arms and legs. And for the record, my arms have not reached the consistency of jell-o jigglers yet, but if anyone ever buys me this shit, i'll murder you.

I did a short survey on people's hair at work. I saw the idea from a child's journal and loved the idea of how it revealed different aspects of both men and women in people in how their perceived their hair. Based on what it looked like when they woke up, after they brushed it, ,when it's fancy, and in their dreams (not literally in their dreams, though some people took it that way, but their dream hair if they could have anything that they wanted...) The results were awesome and thanks so much to everyone that participated. Check out the rest on the slideshow below.

I remember when I was working at my mom's salon, this elderly man would bring in his wife for a wash and set every Friday. And every Friday after I would wash her hair. I would towel it dry and gently lead her to my chair. I'd put the cape on her and look in the mirror and find myself laughing. Before I could blowdry her and put her in rollers, her hair would be wet and stuck to her head. Because she came in with her hair half surviving last weeks do and leave with it all pouffy again, there probably weren't many times when people would see her in this stage of undone. So I laughed because before I can do her hair, she looks just like Bill Murray. And being at the salon for so long, I've had the chance to also see the sometimes big difference that hair makes on a person. God knows that I don't come out of the shower looking like America's Next Top Model. Check out the Hairwash Project here.

Have you ever bought a food product because it looked so delightful and scrumptious on the packaging....only to open it and find something that looks like it just came out of an elephant's ass? Well you are NOT alone. Pundo3000, a german website, had this same issue and decided to take matters into their own hands. They took the products out of their boxes and photographed them to resemble what is being advertised on the outside. The results may just allow the public to see the magic of photography ...food stylists and photo retouchers.

And for the finish...a product that (in my opinion) actually looks BETTER in real life than the piss-poor photo of it on the box. Like...really?

These eggs are painstakingly made with Franc Grom's hands using an electric boring tool. Each egg has approximately 2,500 to 3,500 holes (though he has been known to drill up to 17,000 in one piece.) This kind of thing makes me feel terrible for having a penchant for immediate results that come from such things as the Atkins Diet and crystal meth.
